Your DeepWave session is a completely immersive experience. Relax in a dimly lit room; noise-cancelling headphones allow all outside disturbances to disappear as you drift off into a light-filled blissful state.
Sitting with your eyes closed, your visual experience can be a kaleidoscope of colours and patterns as your brain follows along to the light pulses.
With time almost everybody finds DeepWave sessions to be incredibly relaxing and mood-enhancing. But the first session can be a little different. People report various effects during and immediately after the first session.
Your first visit with us includes an initial consultation and a DeepWave session. This consultation, taking around 15 minutes, allows us to review your health questionnaire and discuss ideal outcomes whilst clarifying any questions you or we may have.
Understanding your purpose for seeing us allows a plan of action to be formed, including the types of DeepWave sessions we will be using.
Any final questions can be answered before we ensure you’re comfortable and ready for your DeepWave experience.
Please allow an hour for this first visit to accommodate both the initial consultation and a DeepWave session.
DeepWave sessions typically last 30 to 40 minutes.
The tripod-mounted DeepWave light will be positioned in front of you. Sitting with your eyes closed, a gentle white light will pulse, delivering the DeepWave session. The session is further enhanced with an accompanying audio experience.
You can sit in the experience and just let the light do its thing or use meditation techniques and breathwork. The choice is yours.
Each experience can be very different, but we hear some common themes from people. Words typically used are; buzzy, trippy, chill, spacy, lucid, relaxing, sleepy, energised, focused, and calm.
After the session, we recommend you stay hydrated and listen to what your body asks of you. It’s not unusual that you can feel sleepy and find yourself tucked up in bed earlier than usual.
We will continue to check in with you for your follow-up sessions to ensure that your goals for each session align with the session selection. We can adjust your experience and session on the day to suit how you are feeling at that moment. Still, always focus on the outcome you are looking to achieve.

This course protocol is then repeated every 2 to 3 months. Maintenance or relaxation sessions can be completed weekly or fortnightly during this more focused period; this is especially recommended if work or life stresses are significant.
